Source: Sengshao catalogue

Sengshao 僧紹. Hualin fodian zhongjing mulu 華林佛殿衆經目錄.

In 515, Sengshao was commanded by Emperor Liang Wudi 梁武帝 (r. 502–549) to compile a catalogue of the texts held in the “Buddhist Hall of Hualin Park 華林佛殿,” which he did in four juan, the resulting text being called the Hualin fodian zhongjing mulu 華林佛殿衆經目錄. Sengshao based himself in large part upon the Chu sanzang ji ji of Sengyou 僧祐. However, the resulting catalogue was judged insufficiently thorough, and in 518–519 the emperor commanded Baochang 寶唱 to compile another catalogue to make up for its shortcomings.
