But elsewhere, s.v. 四十二章經: "Although it was originally considered to be the first sūtra to be translated into Chinese, later research indicates that it was probably produced in China during the Jin 晉 dynasty. There are various editions and commentaries." Referring to Maspero in BEFEO X, 1910.
