Wei), Sakaino quotes passages from LDSBJ, XGSZ 續髙僧傳 , and the Li Kuo lu 李廓錄 (as quoted in XGSZ). Sakaino then points out that although Li Kuo compiled his catalogue by the order of emperor Xuanwu 宣武 of the N. Wei 北魏 (r. 499-515), the catalogue records events in the Tianping 天平 era of emperor Xiaojing 孝靜(靖) of the E. Wei 東魏 (534-437).
