T2103 contains a text titled Datong fangguang chanwen 大通方廣懺文 (Guang hongming ji, T.2103:52.333c7–c28). Daoxuan attributes it to Emperor Wen of the Chen (r. 559–566), and claims this is one of the repentance texts “based on a specific sūtra” (yijing 依經) (T.2103:52.324a15). Therefore, if Daoxuan is correct, and T2871 is the source of this chanwen, the terminus ante quem of T2871 is 566.
