Following research by Miyake, they state that with the addition of the Wofoyuan witness, seven exemplars are extant, though the text was never canonical. The text derives from a chapter of the 賢愚經 T202, but differs significantly from that source. Tsai and Wenzel summarise relations among the different recensions of the text, and give a full translation (63-67). They argue for a date in the late sixth century (60-61).
