Radich DDB s.v.: The principal source about him is a biography appended to the biography of *Jinagupta/*Jñānagupta 闍那崛多 in the Xu gaoseng zhuan 續高僧傳, T2060:50.432c9 ff. He was the son of *(Gautama) Prajñāruci (瞿曇)般若流支 and the younger brother of 瞿曇法智 *Gautama Dharmajñāna. He is said to have been the actual translator 傳譯, 度語 in the teams of Narendrayaśas 那連提耶舍 and Vinītaruci 毘尼多流支. See Funayama (2013): 94-95.
