The first of these supposed faults is that the text presents the Yingluo pin 瓔珞品 T397(1) as a separate text from the Tuoluoni zizaiwang pusa pin 陀羅尼自在王菩薩品 T397(2) [both texts are listed with the title Tathāgatamahākarunā-nirdeśa in HBGR --- MR]. However, Ōno argues that the form in which the “two” texts are separated is older, and a version of the Mahāsaṃnipāta without the separate Yinluo pin, which Zhisheng saw, was a later variation.
