Nattier does not regard the ascription to Zhi Qian as reliable.

According to Zürcher, Sengyou attributed thirty-six texts to Zhi Qian 支謙, of which twenty-three have survived. This entry lists texts which are ascribed to Zhi Qian in the present Taishō, yet do not appear among Sengyou’s attributions.

[CSZJJ]  Sengyou 僧祐. Chu sanzang ji ji (CSZJJ) 出三藏記集 T2145. — T2145 (LV) 27b27

In Sengyou's Chu sanzang ji ji, T808 is regarded as an anonymous translation, that is to say, it is listed in the "Newly Compiled Continuation of the Assorted List of Anonymous Translations" 新集續撰失譯雜經錄 (juan 4):

犢子經一卷.

[Fajing 594]  Fajing 法經. Zhongjing mulu 眾經目錄 T2146. — T2146 (LV) 118b2

T808 is treated as anonymous in Fajing. Fajing lists the text among Mahāyāna scriptures with various translations 眾經異譯二, which also contains lists with known ascriptions, because it is a parallel of another text with a known translator. However, an interlinear note carried only in SYM ascribes the text to Zhi Qian.

[Fei 597]  Fei Changfang 費長房. Lidai sanbao ji (LDSBJ) 歷代三寶紀 T2034. — T2034 (XLIX) 63a24, 69b18

犢子經 is given as an alternate title in LDSBJ for the 乳光經 T809, which LDSBJ ascribes (like T) to Dharmarakṣa. The only other entry for this title is 犢牛經, where a note states the equivalence to the present title, 或作子 (cf. T808); this text is ascribed to Tanwulan, but without any particular source.

[Sakaino 1935]  Sakaino Kōyō 境野黄洋. Shina Bukkyō seishi 支那佛教精史. Tokyo: Sakaino Kōyō Hakushi Ikō Kankōkai, 1935. — 128-129

Sakaino states that the Jiu se lu jing 九色鹿經 [九色鹿經 T181 支謙譯] and the Duzi jing 犢子經 T808, both ascribed to Zhi Qian in KYL, are not Zhi Qian’s translations, claiming that it is difficult to see why the Fashang catalogue 法上錄 judged them as Zhi Qian’s, since their style 文體 is clearly not his.
